Here, I explore anything that captures my interest, always with a connection to design. From historic tools and honest design to the athlete mentality and personal development.
Nothing - Pichi Kichi Presentation
People trust you a lot more when you’ve got Nothing to hide.
100 Words - 2001: A Space Odyssey
It doesn’t look like today. But it feels closer than we think.
“Sustainable” isn’t enough
On the surface, it feels like we’re making progress, like we’re slowly shifting towards a more responsible way of designing and consuming. But the more you look at it, the more it starts to feel like something isn’t quite right.
Charles & Ray Eames - Showing up every day
What makes a great designer?
It’s easy to jump to things like talent, taste or education, but the more I look at designers like Charles and Ray Eames, the more it feels like the answer is something far less glamorous. It’s consistency. It’s the ability to show up every single day and commit to a process, even when the outcome isn’t clear.
What’s better, Reality or Virtual Reality? My thoughts on AI and the Human Factor
AI is changing our lives; it’s making them a lot more human. We’re removing monotony, idleness and brain-rot and replacing it with human connection, community and experience.
What is great design?
To me that’s where great design originates. The ability to open your mind to a world of influence, seeing places and people first hand, learning from every experience with an end goal of really finding out who you are. Is it the pursuit of solving the world’s greatest issues, or just simply appreciating the fresh air?

Good Design is Honest
I wrote 2 whole pages of blog, tried to drag in a photo and it deleted everything. Pretty annoyed. I’ll come back to this when I have the mental strength to do so.
“Made to be worn”
It’s the reason why we use ceramic plates instead of colourful paper ones, high-class technology instead of low-cost clunky machines. We’ve become slaves to instant gratification, impulse purchases. It’s time to invest in ourselves and our environments.
Wear the things that are made to be worn, enjoy the things that are meant to be enjoyed.
Favourites - why they need more respect
The end goal isn’t to have a bullet-pointed list of your favourite things, it’s the personal development that comes from trying to find them out.

Have you ever been prevented from travelling somewhere due to the conditions of the environment?
Around 2000 years ago, the Inuit people came up with a solution.
