  • In an attempt to sharpen up my skills in Adobe Illustrator, I designed and created over 100 different cosmetic items (hats, tattoos, backgrounds, teeth etc.) as vector graphics.

These items were ran through a program which randomised and layered them together to create a collection of over 200 unique ‘characters’.

In 1 week I made over 100 cosmetic items, advertised them on TikTok through short-form marketing videos and sold out the whole project.

  • Loopring (LRC) is a cryptocurrency project that helps make using Ethereum faster and cheaper.

Anyone of age can buy or sell this currency.

There was a strong, rapidly growing community behind ‘Loopring’.
I saw a gap in the market for a project with a clean, professional style and decided to take a chance by making one from scratch, rather than buying into one.

  • I made a series of short form TikTok videos to showcase my process of design and business planning throughout the week.

In a virtual world of AI and decentralised currencies, having a human aspect to the project through using my own voice in the videos gave people the reassurance they needed to invest.

The content amassed a total of 32k+ views across the 7 day period.

  • The NFT’s were released in 3 batches, the most successful being the 2nd batch where 100 NFT’s sold out in 51 seconds.

At the time these were priced at roughly £10 a piece.

Two other ‘1of1’ limited edition NFT’s were auctioned off the week later selling for around 30-40X the value of the original collection.

This collection was branded as an art project and investors were told that the NFT’s themselves had no value other than the demand created through the community.

Each layer (1 to 9) has a randomly picked item from the range I created - these are then compressed into this final product.
